RGMDA Participation Award Program

RGMDA members are amazing with the many things they do with their animals.  And, like any organization, volunteering is the life blood   The purpose of this program is to recognize the many activities our members perform for the club and other RGMDA members. See latest up to date report.

Rules:

1. This program is completely voluntary but it is an opportunity to showcase and appreciate the many activities that RGMDA members do.

2. Submit points to the appointed pointkeeper (Elizabeth Moore) per the online form (or you may send it via US mail or email-see information below), prior to the end of the following month. Example:If you are reporting for your activities in May, you should have all points submitted by the end of June.

3. Points may be with ANY type of equine.

4. Activities not elligible for points:

   1. Daily grooming, feeding, veterinary work, tack cleaning and stall/pen cleaning for their own animals does not qualify for points as this is part of equine ownership.  Exceptions:  Any “Member helping Member” time will count towards points.

   2. Any activity where the member receives personal or professional remuneration, i.e.  judgeing, giving lessons, farrier, animal transport (other than fuel reimbursement), equine photographer .  Member Helping Member points are also not available

5. Points are not cumulative from one year to the next. Point accumulation is from November 1 through October 31 of the next year. (This has been changed per Board November 2012)

6. Certificate Awards Levels- 100 pts, 250 pts, 500 pts, 1000 pts, 2000 pts.

Participants will be recognized at the Annual Members when awards will be presented. Good Luck All! Have fun with your equines & get cool awards too!
